MYANMAR MOTION PICTURE DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
We are proud to collaborate with the Ministry of Information’s Myanmar Motion Picture Development Department (MMPDD), Myanmar’s formidable partner with extensive history in policy making and development of film content since 1945. During our company’s first US and Myanmar joint production, our team shot at one of the 3 studio locations operated by the Film Development Center (FDC) which belong to MMPDD. The FDC was recently developed in July 2018 with 14 board members that includes distinguished individuals and leaders from the Ministry of Information, MMPDD, Yangon Film School (YFS) and private production houses. Mandalay Productions looks forward to expanding our relationship with MMPDD for months and years to come.
